Set me as a seal upon your heart...Song of Solomon 8:6

I was listening to message by Pastor Joseph Prince (Jesus Passionate Love Unveiled in the Song of Songs part 2) and he stated that our hearts are to big for this world. As he explained how Solomon the riches man ever indicated he tried everything the world could offer and said it was all vanity. It arrested my heart because it reminded me of how often we get caught up in what the world is offering that we forget about God loves for us and how deep and rich it is, providing unlimited blessings he has promised us. The things of this world will never fill the void in our hearts. Only God can truely and completely fill our hearts, all others things will only be enhanced by first recognizing he is our completeness, our first and forever love. Isn't it so reassuring to know that God's love never fails it remains forever, its a firm foundation to base our very lives on. What a great and mighty God we serve.
