We have all experienced some form of pain or hurt in our lifetime. Betrayal and unfair circumstances happen to us all. Many times, we feel that no one understands what we are going through however the Bible reminds us that we have a High Priest that can empathize with our weakness” (Heb 4:15 NIV). At the onset of Jesus ministry, he began to experience emotional pain from the rejection and lies of others. He experienced everything we go through. “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering” (Isaiah 53:4 NIV). Jesus carried all of our hurt and pain to the cross so it would be removed by God’s fiery raft along with our sins, sickness, diseases and everything that was not in God’s original plan for mankind. When we are in physically or emotional pain how should we handle these difficult situations? We give it to God and remind ourselves that Jesus bore our pains and sorrows. We don’t have the ability to fix our situations. God has already made provisions for everything we need even our emotional needs. Christ not only paid the price and took our judgement for our sins, but he also carried our sorrow, sickness, disease, and bad circumstances. It came at a great cost to the Father to send his only Son to save mankind. But because of his great love for us he felt we were worth it. That’s how much he loves us. Bless his holy name!!!! Think about this for a moment, God sent his holy Son through what he created so that he could empathize and intercede for us to the Father. Our response in return is to recognize what Christ has done for us and accept the gift that he has provided. What you are going through is for a moment God will wipe your tears, mend your heart, and give you the strength to move forward. God doesn’t want you to hold on to pain, but to exchange it for his joy, peace, and love.
