Perfection, you came out of a place of many not feeling wanted, loved or accepted. So, as a child subconsciously many have learned that perhaps if I look, act and behave perfectly I would be noticed, loved, accepted, validated, protected, and cared for. But you really don't exist. You are a made-up character that have deceived so many and launched them into a state of doing opposed to being. Being and operating in the identity of Christ the only perfect one. Adam and Eve failed miserably in a perfect state, why try in our imperfect state to achieve it. So, Perfection we have decided to accept our imperfection. Realizing our failure demonstrates dependency on Christ who died for every failure. Imperfection will no longer spiral into guilt, shame, condemnation, and self-punishment. It only shows that we are still alive to continue the journey of becoming better day by day. Sometimes hurt and limping, but better, sometimes confused and misunderstood but better. So, Perfectionist this is the breakup letter although you are nonexistent. We are no longer striving for people's good opinion or acceptance, but living, learning, enjoying and being the person God created. Growing through imperfection to reflect the image of Christ and reigning in life. It's been a long ride but it's time to end this false imaginary relationship. Goodbye…
For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 KJV
