…and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. 1 John 1:9
So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Hebrews 13:12
Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of lamb without blemish or spot. I Peter 1:18-19
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Eph 1:7 ESV
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matt 26:28 ESV
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made the righteousness of God in him. I Cor 5:21
Through the blood of Jesus, you have been purified, sanctify, ransomed, redeemed, forgiven and made the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. Unfortunately, there are still teachings indicating that we have to work for our salvation which is the law mentality. We are no longer under the old covenant but the covenant of Grace through the shed blood of Jesus. Romans 6: 14 states, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace”. We must develop the mindset of not being sin conscious. The word of God states, therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin”. Romans 3:20. God wants our thoughts on the love he has for us demonstrated by sending his Son to die for us. He allowed his Son to carry our sins and he took on our judgement so we will never be judged for sin again. All our sins have been removed by the blood of Jesus. It is really hard for many to accept this truth and it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal and remind us daily. God sees us just like Jesus, “as Jesus is so are we,” (1 John 4:17) perfect, pure and holy. It was a done deal. God redeemed mankind once and for all, and one day soon he will come back for us where we will receive our perfect bodies and live forever with him. Our thoughts must shift to the beauty and love of God and away from our mistakes. He wants our focus on Jesus, the King of kings & Lord of lords.
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made the righteousness of God in him. I Cor 5:21
