I beileve one of the reasons many people carry so much guilt, shame and condemnation is because they do not believe that Jesus has forgiven all their sins, and they are in right standing with God. Jesus bore the punishment for sin, so we have to stop carrying it in our hearts and minds a form of punishing ourselves. Condemnation kills, and the Word of God in Romans 8:1 says, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Living in a constant state of condemnation affect every aspect of your life emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally. Not to mention the tornment the enemy heeps on your mind. It was God's plan to send his Son to the earth to die for our sins so we could be in right relationship with him. He is not looking at our mistakes and he doesn't want us dwelling on them either. His desire is for us to saturate our hearts and mind on how much he loves us. We have to stop allowing the enemy, and wrong believing to rob us of the truths of God. Psalms 103: 2-5 NLT is a great scripture to stand on to combate wrong believing. God wants this mattered "settled in your mind" because he knows how important it is for his children to live a victorious life. 

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fill my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's! Psalms 103:5 NLT
