It Was Never About Another Person

It Was Never About Another Person

We are first and foremost a container of God’s love, accepted, approved, and purposed for him. God created Adam out of love, God’s love is soexplosive he wanted to share it with mankind. He created man for relationship, an intimate personal relationship that only he could fill. Our number one relationship to cultivate daily is with our heavenly Father, and out of that love our earthly relationships will flow and flourish. When God created Adam it was all about him and God, can you imagine walking with God in the Garden? I wonder what those conversations were like, I believe they weren’t recorded in the Bible because they were personally between the two of them just as our relationship with God. It wasn’t until later that out of love God created Eve for Adam. “It’s not good for a man to be alone.” God provided Eve, someone that was an extension of Adam that would help him and love him on a human level. God’s love is so vast it just keeps giving. It gives when it’s not reciprocated, it gives when its ignored, and it gives even if its misunderstood. We will never fully understand the love of God displayed at its highest form when he gave his only Son to die on the cross for us, so that we could be in perfect relationship with him. It’s always been about Him loving us. Can you accept it, and receive it as your number one priority? God created you out of love to love. His love is so great he desires to share it until it overflows. Everyone significant in our lives are a gift from God. The gifts will never fill you completely only God can, he designed it that way.
